A few great dating books

Posted by: on November 27th, 2010 | No Comments

My last relationship has driven me to read three books on dating….I am kidding.  Albeit, I do know that I am ready for a committed relationship.  So after dating, yet again, an unavailable Man I decided that I need to do things differently and try a new approach to dating.  I love the following quote: The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results”.  I am not sure where this came from but I think this is a great quote.  So I jumped on the band wagon and have read three books in the past 6 weeks which I would like to share with you.  They are all fabulous books and each of them has a different approach to dating.

Women who love too much by Robin Norwood:

This is an excellent book for Women who often find themselves in co-dependent relationships.  I found it to be very thorough in going through the different types of co-dependent relationships with lots of examples from Women who are in those types of relationships.  Often times Women in these relationships will equate pain with love.  That is certainly my experience.  This book will help you to become more aware of your patterns and the traits of co-dependent Women and how to heal and create healthy relationships.

Are you the One for Me? By Barbara DeAngelis

I loved this book.  It explores compatibility and shows you how to create the fulfilling relationship that you deserve.  This book has some great techniques and tools to help you understand yourself and your patterns and gives you a formula for creating lasting love.  I would highly recommend it.

Love in 90 Days by Diana Kirschner

This is a great book for anyone that is single and looking for help navigating the waters in the dating world.  It provides you with a practical step by step guide for dating and provides you with great tools and support to help you along the way.  I wish I had read this book 10 years ago.  I will definitely be using this book as I step back into dating.

Have fun on your dating journey!
