ABOUT ME

Health and Wellness has been a passion of Meghan’s since she was a teenager. Her parents owned a Health Food chain, which exposed her to the health and wellness industry as well as alternative therapies at an early age. After working in the stores she became intrigued with health in the realm of nutrition, supplementation, as well as alternative therapies and energy work, and the amazing wonders it can have on one’s well being. Fascinated with alternative therapies, Meghan explored reflexology, iridology, acupuncture, crystal healing and most of all yoga, reiki and energy healing. Now a certified yoga instructor as well as elementary school teacher, Meghan enjoys to continually learn about health and energy work. She has achieved her Level I and II Reiki certifications, and practices yoga and meditation daily while maintaining a positive state of mind. She is thrilled to be coaching through Healthygirl and assisting people through positive changes in their lives. In the near future, Meghan looks forward to completing her Master level Reiki certification and Clinical Nutritionist certification to assist her in working with youth and adults in the areas of health and well being.

 

WHY I BECAME A HEALTHY GIRL COACH

“Change the way you look at things, and the things you look at change”- Wayne Dyer. My coaching takes a holistic approach and looks at the ‘whole’ individual, in mind, body and spirit, and what they require to feel their most energetic and vibrant. For me, proper nutrition, supplementation, daily affirmations and personal development, as well as exercise, yoga and meditation bring peace and contentment to my life. I practice these daily to help me flow through life easily and effortlessly. I truly believe anyone, no matter how they feel or where they are in their life, is capable of feeling radiant from the inside out. My intention is to coach individuals through positive changes in their life centered on two main areas; overall health including nutrition, supplementation, exercise and energy work – leading them to a more powerful and fulfilling life.
