How much water per day?

The 8-12 glasses (8 oz each) minimum is a GREAT guideline.  The Institute of Medicine recommends that men consume 3 liters (about 13 cups) of total beverages a day and women consume 2.2 liters (about 9 cups) of total beverages a day.  Most bottled waters contain around 16 oz . A great rule of thumb is to refill your stainless water bottle 3-5 times per day. If you’re active, 3L of water per day is a great goal. Remember that eating a diet rich in fruits and veggies will hydrate your body as well but it’s important to fuel your cells H2O daily for healthy weight, great skin and healthy cells.
