Now, I believe “beauty” products alone can make us feel more confident (if they are truly the right product for the individual), but I believe it will take more to find my inner goddess, for Rome was not built in one day!
So, how do we go about finding our inner goddesses? This has been a quest of mine, researching, interviewing, leading up to creating the current GIT FIT (Goddess in Training Program). Based on the philosophies of www.FitYourStyle.com, embracing body, beauty (beauty is a state of mind), mind and spirit.
Let us define the word GODDESS: “A women of great beauty and grace” (American Heritage Dictionary).

When you think back to the last time she had spoken to you, relive that memory.
How “old” (we are only as old as we feel) were you?
What season was it?
What were you wearing?
What occurred to give you that goddess feeling?
For some, we have not claimed her since being a little girl. Regardless, if you are no longer seeing her in your words or reflection, it is time to reclaim and embrace her!
GIT FIT was created out of my own past lost goddess (see my story on www.fityoursyle.com) and for my clients who all had a reoccurring word in our consultations, regardless if I was working with them as a certified personal trainer, image consultant or beauty advisor. I HATE my nose, I HATE my HIPS, I HATE I HATE I HATE .. these women were broken spirits, despite what age or size.
Not only had they lost their goddesses, they were claiming fear. How could they not, with all of the stop the clock, anti-aging fear based strategies out there! I am a big believer of looking and feeling the best I can, not through fear, but through education and awareness! These words stirred in me and I knew I was on my way to paving a path of change. It is incredible to see these women transform in the balance of body (health/fitness/clean eating), beauty (education), mind and spirit (affirmations/journaling). These women found their “Aphrodite Archetype” embracing her body, no matter what size or shape, and discovering that “inner glow” comes with experience and education, transforming into a beauty no bottle can ever capture.
