I just finished reading an incredible book by Beth Greer called ‘Super Natural Home‘. You’ll definitely want to get yourself a copy to do the ‘Super Natural Home Quiz’ and learn so much about how many toxins can be found in our home. I consider myself somewhat conscious of the products in my home. I don’t use air fresheners, toxic cleaners,or toxic detergents. I don’t even use dry cleaners as I know how toxic the chemicals they use are. I even make sure my skincare and body care products are edible! But, I will say that after reading this book, I now have a new level of understanding (like how healthy my matress is!).
Thanks Beth for doing all the homework for us and for sharing so many incredible tips and tools. Beth is so generous in sharing her personal story with us but also an entire section at the back on resources, books and websites that she loves.
“I want you to get curious about what’s in your food, what’s in your makeup, deodorant, soap, and shampoo, and who’s regulating the safety of these products; and how the cookware, fabrics, and furniture you come in contact with can also affect your health”.
-Beth Greer, Author, Super Natural Home
Beth teaches us about the best organic resources, cookware, matresses, flooring, paints, baby clothing, make-up and documentaries! I’m so excited to see the movie ‘Flow’. I’ve been meaning to watch it for weeks now and your book has inspired me to watch it this week! I was happy to see that the detergent I use by Seventh Generation was recommended by Beth. Beth also has a great list of 10 Easy ways to have a Super Natural Home.
Beth is the former president and co-owner of ‘The Learning Annex’ and is now an award-winning journalist, author and holistic health advocate!
I would only recommend a book if I truly loved it and I can say that this book is a holistic health/home reference manual that you’ll want by your side.
“Beth Greer has written an invaluable book, filled with practical solutions on how to eat healthier, breathe cleaner air, and transform your home into a safe haven, free from toxic chemicals.”
